She is also a respected clinical leader in mental health technology, a passionate advocate for clinician entrepreneurship, and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Doctorate of Social Work program at her alma mater, the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Nyoki brings a rare blend of clinical expertise, academic leadership, and entrepreneurial insight. She is a Certified Triple P Positive Parenting Program Provider, Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Consultant, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)–trained provider, OCD specialty-trained therapist, and Crisis Response Consultant, with a strong history of clinical leadership in mental health technology spaces.
​Dr. Nyoki serves as an Adjunct Professor within higher education systems and is a co-author of the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Disaster Social Work Curriculum, contributing to national efforts to advance social work education and strengthen disaster preparedness across communities. Her commitment to Disaster Social Work is further demonstrated through her role as a grant awardee with the Tulane University Consortium for Equitable Disaster Resilience (CEDR) and her work as a presenter at New York Climate Week. She continues to collaborate with Tulane University and CEDR on ongoing and emerging initiatives focused on equity, resilience, and disaster response.
She has been instrumental in the growth of several business ventures, including Innovative Approaches Counseling Center, LLP, which she helped build as Co-Founder. Under her leadership, the organization grew into a comprehensive mental health clinic and community resource center, recognized as a grant awardee and a trusted pillar of mental health services throughout Louisiana.
